Who We Are

 Fr. Antonious Wassef studied at Alexandria University and in 1982 got his Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy. In 1986 he got his second Bachelor of Commence in custom and financial studies. When he was younger, he served in St. George Sporting, St. Tekla, and Arch Angel Mikael in Alexandria, Egypt as a deacon and a Sunday school servant. When he came to the U.S. in 1990 he served in St. Marks' church in Natick until 1997 when St. Marys' Vineyard opened. Fr. Antonious was ordained as a priest on January 20, 2001 at St. Mark. He served all of the churches established in Massachusetts and New Hampshire until H.H. Bishop David assigned him to St. Mary's Vineyard now called St. Mary and Pope Kyrillos church in Charlton in 2015 where he still serves to this day. And in 2019 he was ordained as our church's Hegoman. He is married to Sally Wassef and has 4 kids.
