The service on Saturday is a full day of worship and prayer, filled with various events and activities. We have the morning mass from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
In the afternoon, there is the youth choir practice called "Hearts of Worship" from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for our talented youth to come together and use their voices to praise and through music. Following the choir practice, we have Vesper from 4 pm to 4:30 pm, where we gather for a time of reflection and offering our praises to God.
Vespers are then held at 6:30 p.m., a solemn and sacred time of evening prayers and scripture readings. It provides us with an opportunity to deepen our understanding of our faith and connect with our spiritual community. After Vespers, the youth and kids have another hymns class from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., allowing them to further develop their musical abilities and appreciation for worshipful songs.
The day continues with a bible study from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., providing an environment for us to collectively delve into the Word of God and gain insights and inspiration for our lives. Finally, we conclude the night with midnight praises from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., a time of joyful and heartfelt worship where we express our gratitude, sing praises, and lift our prayers to God.
The Sunday service starts with a mass that runs from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It is a time for worship and reflection, where the congregation comes together to listen to the teachings and engage in prayer.
Following the mass, there is a breakfast session from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. This provides an opportunity for the church community to gather and enjoy a delicious meal, reinforcing the sense of fellowship among members.
After breakfast, the Sunday school session takes place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. It is a dedicated time for children and young adults to learn about the teachings of the Bible, engage in discussions, and participate in various educational activities.
Lastly, there is a kids' choir practice for "The Angels" from 1 pm to 2 pm. This provides an avenue for children interested in singing to come together, learn new songs, and practice harmonization in a fun and supportive environment.
Every Wednesday evening at 9 pm, we have a special reading session in the 12th hour in the agpya. It is a significant event that brings together members of our community in prayer and reflection. During this hour, we gather in our respective homes and participate in the readings. Reading the agpya together allows us to connect spiritually and deepen our understanding of our faith. It is a beautiful opportunity to strengthen our bond as a community, even when we are physically apart.
